Growth
The Henry George Foundation of Great Britain
Is pleased to extend an invitation to a talk by
HAYDON BRADSHAW
ENTITLED
PROSPERITY, REAL GROWTH,
OR NEO-KEYNESIAN FARCE?
In this talk Haydon will review the history of economic wealth production and show how
the motives that have lead to improvements in productive efficiency have affected the
sharing of the product and the prosperity of the nation. He will show how the current cries
for ‘growth’ by many politicians may merely seek to increase the volume of production,
regardless of other consequences or boost GDP numbers by stimulating asset values with
more debt – leaving repayment and interest charges to our children. He will highlight the
importance of worthy motives if prosperity for all is to be achieved.
